Lambent is an adjective describing something as either 1) dealing lightly and gracefully with a subject; brilliantly playful, or 2) running or moving lightly over a surface.

Katherine believed she was a proficient, lambent dancer yet she was quickly back down to earth when she tripped and fell during her dance recital.
